They envisioned a Forum of community-based organisations representing the interests of women, not a captive market for trans-national corporations nor a platform for their corporate messenger. They raised issues of corporate responsibility for poor food quality and environmental degradation, delivering their message to a tomato sauce daubed Ronald McDonald while he lay prone in the mud.
