Commentary
Welcome to T52, the grassroots tent. This space functioned as a community centre for grassroots women, there was always a friendly face and someone to talk to in one language or another, while desperately trying to remember lessons in high school language classes.

This venue became a central space for women organizing around the issues of women, homes and community. For me, meeting these women and finding common ground was like the coming home. Community spaces are essential for community building.
