Womenstown was largely a pedestrian town, the few cars there often had horns blaring, asserting a dominance belied by numbers. I found a stern glance, with one finger raised to my pursed lips, enough to induce silence… at least for a short while. Though busses and taxis dropped most of us off several blocks from the Forum, some VIPs were shuttled into the site by car. There was no plan though, no demarcation of pedestrian and vehicular areas.
