Commentary
It looked like we might have had the last of the New Continent Ice Cream for the day. But why was this truck bogged to the axels at the foot of the sheer rock and concrete wall? In the days and weeks before the population of Women’s Town arrived many people were displaced from their town, from their homes to make way for us. The ground here had been recently disturbed and it didn’t take a lot of rain before it became a quagmire, but what was here before? People’s homes and gardens? A chicken pen? Somebody’s workplace?
